I'm the longest-living glioblastoma brain cancer survivor at UT Southwestern in Dallas Texas.

Genetic testing revealed that the early occurrence was attributed to a cancer syndrome. Lynch syndrome leaves victims susceptible to over 10 different types of cancer at varying percentages over their lifetimes; primarily colon (at 80%) and lastly brain, which I was diagnosed with first 16 years ago when I was 20.
Having my life seemingly ran by cancer, I began to focus on finding safe and effective long-term prevention and treatment strategies.

It is imperative to use every tool to limit the harms of traditional therapy, to lessen the amount of medicines needed during treatment and to increase the quality of life of patients after their recovery. I eventually came across this...

"Cannabinoids possess Anti-Proliferative and Pro-Apoptotic effects and they are known to interfere with tumour Neovascularization, cancer cell Migration, Adhesion, Invasion and Metastasization." –Cannabidiol as Potential Anticancer Drug, British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology

The National Cancer Institute claims that, "Cannabinoids may have a protective effect against the development of tumors. Cannabinoids may cause antitumor effects by various mechanisms, including induction of cell death, inhibition of cell growth, and inhibition of tumor angiogenesis invasion and metastasis. Cannabinoids appear to kill tumor cells but do not affect their nontransformed counterparts and may even protect them from cell death."

There are no other treatments or protocols that could treat as many cancers and their side-effects as effectively and efficiently as cannabinoid-based therapy. Based on their evidence, my logic goes like this…

1) I need a formulation to “prevent and or treat” genetically-driven “neoplasms."

2) Why not produce it so others can access what I myself trust and use"
3) Why not take a percentage of sales and donate the formulation to cancer patients?
4) Why not use that opportunity to build a database of case studies to spur clinical trials?

I can’t make patients buy products and give me data, but I can give products to patients in exchange for their data.

Enter: Giving Hemp.We Founded the Nonprofit to Give Hemp products to Cancer Patients in Exchange for their Scans, Reports and Medication list. We use the Data to build a collection of Case Studies to show statistical trends in Disease response. Those trends will be used to change Legislation and raise Capital for Trials here and abroad.
